Your tanks are yours

What we collect

AI Aquarium Doctor stores the data you create in the app: tank profiles, water test results, care schedules, journal entries, inhabitant profiles, and photos. By default you use the app with an anonymous account; you can optionally sign in with Apple or Google to keep your data across devices.

Photos and AI analysis

Photos you take for checkups and species identification are uploaded to your private storage area and sent to our servers solely to run the AI analysis you requested. Extra shots taken only for a checkup are deleted after the analysis completes. Your photos are never used to train AI models and are never shared with other users.

Where data lives

Data is stored with Google Firebase (Firestore, Storage, and Authentication) and protected by per-user security rules — only your signed-in account can read your data. We use Firebase Crashlytics to fix crashes and anonymized analytics to understand feature usage.

Purchases

Subscriptions and credit packs are processed by Apple App Store and Google Play. We never see your payment details; we only receive a receipt to unlock what you bought.

Your choices

You can delete tanks, photos, journal entries, and your account from within the app; deleting your account removes your data from our servers. Questions or requests:xavier@jodoin.me.
